...and Maddox flashing a tattoo.
Just another crazy day in the Therrell house! ;)
I started the day off with Krispy Kreme coffee, breakfast, diaper changes, outfit changes, and making a tent. Four chairs and a big bed sheet and you have one cool tent (or so your 2-year-old thinks). We sat in there and talked about the "number of the week," "letter of the week," "shape of the week," "color of the week," and "animal of the day." Hey, pre-preschool in a tent is pretty fun. Maddox's favorite part was talking about the alligator. He will quickly tell you, "They live in the 'wudder' and bite Mommy's toes."
Yep. Sounds about right to me.
Lunch time rolled around and Andrew and I decided to try something new. We did that this past weekend and it was a success. BOTH kids slept through 80% of the meal. It was amazing. Today we chose Tijuana Flats and once again, Maddox slept through most of the meal (he falls asleep in the car). He woke up to a cheese quesadilla, a "coke" (really a Sprite), applesauce and a tattoo sheet. Other places give out corny toys with their kid meals, but nope not Tijuana Flats. They hand out tattoos (and send you home with a giant bag of chips and beefy queso. Goodbye size 4 pants. Hello AGAIN size 6 pants).
At the end of the day, Jude tried to improve his sitting up skills and sat up a whole 2 seconds while attempting to push one of Maddox's toy cars. He pushed the car and his little wobbly body quickly followed.
He is growing up way too fast. And so is Maddox...tonight I was watching Cake Boss (a show about a bakery on TLC) and he informed me, "I don't like that man on tb (tv). He scares me! Eww!"
p.s. He didn't like the tattoo. Thank goodness he isn't THAT grown-up yet. As soon as I put him in the tub he showed me his arm and said, "Clean that!"
