Maddox likes to flip this truck on its side and pretend the wheel is a steering wheel. I love to watch his imagination grow. Lastnight he found a bag of cotton balls and he said, "mmhhmm turkey!" He then made me a turkey sandwich and poured me a pretend glass of chocolate milk.
He even HAD to fall asleep clinging to these cotton balls...and his precious pink phone. All day long I hear the frantic yells of, "Pink cone! Pink cone!" And then we look under the couch cushions, in the bed covers, anywhere and everywhere...until the precious pink phone has been discovered. And when we find it he always says (in the most excited voice ever): "THERE YA GO!"
We took the boys to Zoo Lights on Sunday (which was Andrew's 26th bday, by the way! Getting ever closer to the big 30....) and Maddox got to pet goats, ducks and what looked just like a little misplaced reindeer.
Christmastime is so much more fun when you have two bright-eyed little boys.
